Salary Range: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000

Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planning Engineer / Production Planner who is fluent in Japanese to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead production planning activities, optimize operational efficiency, and serve as a key liaison to coordinate effectively with our Japanese customers, suppliers, and headquarters.
Key Responsibilities

Production Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate production plans cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales departments.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate seamlessly with Japanese customers, suppliers, and headquarters regarding production schedules, order status, and delivery requirements.

Capacity & Efficiency Optimization: Analyze production capacity, material availability, and manpower allocation to maximize overall production efficiency.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure raw materials are readily available in alignment with the production plan.

Progress Tracking & Problem Solving: Follow up closely on production progress and resolve scheduling bottlenecks or issues promptly.

Reporting & Process Improvement: Prepare production reports, forecasts, and planning-related documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy.
Requirements

Education & Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Language Proficiency: Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2/N1 preferred) and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Experience: Prior experience in production planning is an added advantage. Background in the printing or manufacturing industry is preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
