• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8.30 am -5.30 pm), Saturday (8.30 am -12.30 pm)

• Salary Range: RM 8,000 – RM 10,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accountant to oversee our financial operations, budgeting, and cost management within the Concrete Precast manufacturing sector. Reporting directly to the CFO/CEO, you will lead the accounting department, supervise junior finance and operational staff, and ensure financial accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Operations: Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow strategies. Oversee daily full-set accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, GL, and monthly/annual account closings.

• Cost Control & Material Management: Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and QS departments to monitor raw material, labor, and overhead costs, ensuring budget efficiency and resource optimization.

• Team Leadership & Supervision: Guide, mentor, and assign duties to direct subordinates (Accounts Executive/Assistant, Senior Purchasing Executive, Assistant IT Manager, Storekeeper). Conduct performance evaluations and foster staff development.

• Compliance, Tax & Statutory Audit: Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal risk controls. Manage statutory audit preparations and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners.

• Reporting & Process Improvement: Prepare detailed financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management insights to support decision-making. Drive continuous improvement in financial workflows and ERP/accounting systems.

• Troubleshooting & Risk Mitigation: Resolve payment disputes, investigate record discrepancies, address cash flow challenges, and eliminate financial inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Education & Qualification: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance Management, or equivalent discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on Finance & Accounting experience specifically within the Concrete Precast Manufacturing industry.

• Technical Skills: Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting/ERP systems. Proven capability in cost control and financial analysis.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills to interface effectively across departments and with top management.
