Food Technologist
Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
Salary: Up to RM5,000 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Food Technologist to join our team at Food Excellence Specialist Sdn Bhd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving research and development initiatives, establishing production applications, conducting product testing, and ensuring strict compliance with food safety and quality management standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct research on current consumer market trends and the latest technologies for new product development.

Establish production applications and transition R&D concepts into practical production processes.

Plan, conduct, and analyze trial runs; prepare comprehensive trial reports, product evaluations, and testing.

Conduct shelf-life studies on new and existing products to maintain optimal quality.

Ensure all product processes comply strictly with existing technical and quality procedures.

Implement, maintain, and enforce Quality Management Systems and Food Safety Standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, and HALAL).

Step up to lead and oversee operations in the absence of the R&D Assistant Manager.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemical & Bio-Process Engineering, or a related field focusing on Food Research & Development.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar creamer product environment.

Industry Background: Relevant experience in Food Manufacturing (specifically creamer/dairy-related products) is highly required.

Compliance & Standards: Solid understanding or practical experience with food safety frameworks (HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, HALAL).

Location: Willingness to work in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang, Johor area.
