Position: Senior Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of automation systems and engineering solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and operational performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, automation, system integration, and project execution while providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in automation, machinery design, or industrial engineering.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD design software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with machining processes, including drilling, milling, turning (lathe), and fabrication.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems and electrical circuits.
• Knowledge of machine vision or vision inspection systems will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple engineering projects.
• Full-time position.
• Candidates who are able to join immediately will have an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement automated systems, machinery, and engineering solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Programming: Develop automation software, scripts, and applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or other relevant platforms where applicable.
• Testing & Simulation: Conduct testing, validation, and simulation of automation equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues related to automation systems, machinery, and control equipment while providing technical support when required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering, to ensure successful implementation and integration of automation systems.
• Training: Provide technical training and guidance to internal teams on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation systems and equipment.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with the latest automation technologies, engineering practices, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and enhance system performance.
• Support project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
