Position: Warehouse Clerk / Shipping Officer (Temporary – 4 Months)
Salary: RM2,000 – RM2,500 per month
Employment Type: Temporary Contract (4 Months)
Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Reports To: SCM Manager
Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
Position Summary
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk / Shipping Officer to support warehouse operations, shipping coordination, inventory record management, and logistics documentation during a temporary assignment period. The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory transactions, timely shipment processing, and smooth coordination between internal departments and external logistics providers.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations

Assist in receiving, checking, and recording incoming materials, products, and supplies.

Verify quantities and conditions of goods received against delivery documents.

Organize and maintain proper storage of inventory within the warehouse.

Assist in stock counting, inventory verification, and cycle count activities.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination
-
Prepare shipping documents, delivery orders, packing lists, and other logistics-related documentation.

Coordinate shipment arrangements with transporters, freight forwarders, and courier service providers.

Monitor shipment schedules and delivery status to ensure on-time delivery.

Follow up on shipping discrepancies and delivery-related issues.
Inventory Control
-
Update inventory records and transaction data accurately in the system.

Maintain proper documentation of stock movements, transfers, and shipment records.

Assist in monitoring stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the SCM Manager.
Documentation & Data Entry

Perform data entry for inventory, shipment, and warehouse transactions.

Maintain organized filing of warehouse and shipping records.

Ensure all shipping and inventory documents are complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
Coordination & Communication

Work closely with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to support operational requirements.

Liaise with external logistics providers regarding shipment schedules and delivery arrangements.

Provide timely updates on shipment and inventory status when required.
General Duties
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Support ad-hoc warehouse and logistics activities assigned by the SCM Manager.

Perform any other duties as assigned to support business operations during the contract period.
Requirements
Education
-
SPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience
-
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, or logistics coordination will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
-
Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Experience using ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.

Other Requirements
