Position Summary
The Casino Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to onboard casino operations, including gaming revenue audits, cage and cash management, internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures the integrity of gaming revenue, safeguards company assets, and supports efficient casino operations through strong financial governance and operational oversight.
The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in casino finance, gaming audits, cage operations, and revenue control within a casino, integrated resort, or cruise environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, minimizing financial risk, and providing management with timely financial insights and operational recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Gaming Revenue Audit Management
• Oversee and review all daily gaming revenue audit activities.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of table games revenue, slot machine revenue, drop counts, soft counts, and system-generated reports.
• Review audit exceptions, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of gaming transactions recorded within casino management systems.
• Maintain integrity and transparency of all gaming revenue reporting processes.
Cage & Cash Operations
• Oversee casino cage operations, including cash management, chip inventory, and player account administration.
• Review daily and shift-based cage reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Monitor chip issuance, fills, credits, redemptions, transfers, and player transactions.
• Ensure appropriate controls are maintained over high-value transactions and player credit accounts.
• Safeguard casino cash, chips, and related assets through robust control procedures.
Casino Financial Operations
• Support and oversee the financial operations of table games and slot gaming activities.
• Collaborate closely with casino operations teams to ensure effective financial controls and reporting.
• Monitor gaming volumes, hold percentages, drop figures, and operational performance metrics.
• Analyze player activity, revenue trends, and profitability indicators.
• Support workforce planning and operational resource allocation for finance-related casino functions.
Risk Management & Variance Investigation
• Investigate revenue discrepancies, cash variances, and operational exceptions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Escalate significant financial issues to senior management when required.
• Monitor unusual transactions and collaborate with surveillance and compliance teams on investigations.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and mitigate financial risks.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Review and approve daily gaming revenue reports and audit summaries.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial reports for management.
• Analyze key gaming performance indicators, including win percentages, hold percentages, and revenue trends.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve operational performance and profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Audit & Regulatory Compliance
• Serve as the primary finance contact for internal and external audits.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of audit trails.
• Support regulatory inspections and compliance reviews.
• Address audit findings and implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain compliance with gaming regulations, financial controls, and company policies.
Systems & Process Improvement
• Support implementation, enhancement, and integration of casino management systems and ERP platforms.
• Ensure accurate data flow between gaming systems, cage systems, and accounting systems.
• Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for casino finance activities.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and operational efficiency.
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, supervise, and develop gaming revenue auditors, cage personnel, and related finance staff.
• Provide training on audit procedures, gaming controls, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and strong financial governance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management activities.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in casino finance, gaming audit, cage operations, or gaming revenue management.
• Experience within a cruise ship casino, integrated resort, or regulated gaming environment is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of gaming operations, table games, slot systems, cage controls, and revenue audit procedures.

Work Conditions
• Full-time onboard position operating on rotational contracts.
