Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to support the growth of our industrial automation and engineering solutions business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and promoting technical solutions to manufacturers and industrial clients. Key Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing, automation, engineering, and industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their operational needs and challenges.
• Promote and present the company's products, engineering solutions, and technical services to potential clients.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders to maximize conversion opportunities.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, project, and operations teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and industry events to expand market presence and generate leads.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
• Travel regularly to customer sites throughout Malaysia as required.
Requirements
Education & Experience
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, or a related role.
• Experience selling automation systems, engineering services, machinery, manufacturing solutions, or industrial products is highly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand technical products and translate customer requirements into business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
