Industrial Engineer
Responsibilities

Analyze, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

Study production workflows, manpower utilization, machine capacity, and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities.
-
Drive process optimization, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives through continuous improvement activities.
-
Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process flow charts, and manufacturing documentation.
-
Conduct time studies, work measurements, and establish standard cycle times for production processes.
-
Support production layout design, line balancing, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
-
Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective and preventive actions to achieve operational targets.

Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve overall manufacturing performance.
-
Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement projects.
-
Assist in implementing productivity enhancement and operational excellence initiatives.
-
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
-
Prepare reports, data analysis, and presentations to support management decision-making.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), or Continuous Improvement methodologies is preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support operational improvement initiatives.
