Finance Executive (6-Month Contract)

Location: PTP Gelang Patah, Johor

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support daily financial operations and ensure smooth accounting processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience in financial reporting, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable (AP) processes, including three-way matching and timely payment processing.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial transactions and documentation.

Cash Management

• Monitor and manage cash flow, bank balances, and petty cash operations.
• Maintain sufficient liquidity to support uninterrupted business operations.

System Administration & Oversight

• Support the migration, setup, and maintenance of SAP systems, particularly AP and Asset modules.
• Ensure SQL database accuracy and data integrity.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed financial and operational reports for management and operations teams.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Maintain proper asset filing and financial records.
• Conduct or support team training initiatives to improve process efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or possession of a professional accounting qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting functions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, resilient, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
