Office Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Engineer to support daily office operations, engineering coordination, and administrative functions. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring efficient office management and smooth coordination between technical, operational, and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and office management support to engineering and operations teams
- Maintain and organize office records, documents, technical files, and filing systems
- Handle procurement activities, inventory tracking, and equipment maintenance records
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, accommodation, and travel arrangements for staff
- Assist with onboarding and general HR-related administrative tasks
- Serve as a point of contact for client, supplier, and vendor enquiries
- Support the implementation and maintenance of workplace health and safety procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline office processes and workflows
- Assist with preparation of reports, documentation, and project-related administrative support
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational support
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in office administration, office management, or engineering support roles
- Experience in engineering, technical, industrial, or project-based environments will be an added advantage
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in AutoCAD will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with procurement, inventory management, and documentation processes
- Able to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced working environment
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
- Candidates based in Johor or nearby areas will have an added advantage
