*QUALITY MANAGER*

Job purpose
Quality Manager work to ensure a product or service provides a high level of quality that meets customer expectation. He/she will put in place a system to measure an organization’s performance and then report on its findings, liaising with managers and staff, and coordinating procedures to address any deficiencies. Responsible to ensure that the different products leaving manufacturing are fully operational, effective and free from defects.

Duties & Responsibilities

​• Develop & determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

• Plan, arrange and monitor daily manpower activities and inspection planning.

• Developing and implementing quality management systems.

• Review quality of all materials at site and ensure compliance to all project specifications and quality and collaborate with department for all material procurement and maintain quality of materials.

• Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedule and ensure adhere to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

• Analyze Customer Complaint and work out corrective action and improvements plan to ensure non-repetitive of the same problem.

• Perform quality system and process conformance audit. Participate in supplier and customer audit if necessary.

• Creating and maintaining company documentation, such as quality manuals, and quality procedures.

• Troubleshooting problems or flaws in the item provided for testing.

• Maintaining and controlling calibration records for all test and inspection equipment.

• To recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment’s performance and quality of product.

• To perform continuous improvement through work flow, analysis and optimization.

• Establish and maintain quality data such as PPM, FMEA, 8D, FA and Control Plan, SPC, MSA and other quality related data & records.

• Act as QMR – Person in charge to obtain & maintaining IATF 16949 certification, and other certification if required.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as and assigned by superior.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Candidates must posses at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering Mechanical/ Industrial or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Third language would be of advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Power Point & QC tools.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience, preferably in automotive industry.
• Familiar with precision measuring instrument.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Having skills and knowledge in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Strong prioritizing skills, ability to multi-task and result driven.
• Compliance IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & etc.

Working conditions
Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 8.30am ~ 5.30pm
Lunch Hour : 12.30pm ~ 1.30pm
Working Locations : No 34, Jalan i-Park SAC 4, Taman Perindustrian i-Park SAC, 81400 Senai, Johor
