Job Description
1) Report generation
  • Report generation on ad hoc basis
  • Shipment report to customers and Sales
2) Logistical support and order management
  • Order management: Order intake, release of order from e-commerce, order output, order change requests
  • Supply issues, allocation, product availability etc.
  • Manage sample orders
  • Special price approval process (from GPS sales or finance management)
  • Ensure Partners are compliant with Commercial returns policies to process returns, work with sales to approve exceptions
  • Manage customer complaints (returns, picking errors, lost shipments, damages)
  • Work with and support internal departments regarding activities at the Distribution Centre
  • Ensure Orders are shipped out (ensure that orders are being processed to the warehouse and any shipment issues are prioritized and resolved for customers
  • Collaborate with Central Customer Service and Global Operations to align GPS processes with global processes where it benefits the end-to-end process, while still serving the customer.

Detailed job description on Order Management for GPS:

  • Handle orders
  • Release orders from e-commerce. Enter order and handle order change management
  • Problem-solving (items not available, missing PN or other details)
  • Check credit limits and other possible hurdles, special handling etc.
  • Submit order confirmation to customer
  • Plan shipment date according to availability, holidays, delivery stops, customer wishes etc.,
  • Maintain order portfolio in sales statistic (Sales reporting tool)
  • Prepare necessary documentation and certificates
  • Book shipments (air freight or courier)
  • Inform customers about shipping details
  • Inform GPS CC that orders are ready to invoice in Navision
  • Follow up on shipments, e.g. central problem solving point of contact between shipping partner and customer
Preferred Education/Experience:
  • Education at Bachelor level or 3 – 5 years of work experience within Logistics & Operation or Supply Chain Management or,
  • Associates degree in Business, Marketing or related field and 5+ years costumer service experience providing superior customer care
  • Business partner, distributor, and/or channel experience preferred
  • Audiology background preferred
