JOB TITLE
Assistant Treasury Manager – Shared Service Center (SSC)
 

SITUATION IN ORGANIZATION
Reports to Asia Pacific Regional Finance Director

JOB DIMENSIONS
 Multiple entities with multiple currencies covered
 Management of three executive staffs
 

ACTIVITIES
 Maintain and implement necessary treasury procedures based on Group Treasury policies and Internal Control guidelines (notably with regards to bank mandates, hedging of FX exposure, bank reconciliation)
 Manage all banking facilities, tools and accounts and ensure compliance at all times with relevant Board resolutions and banking powers
 Cost optimization and ensure availability of financials instruments (notably accounts in various currencies, banking
facilities, means of payments) in line with business requirements.
 Define and continuously enhance to ensure availability of proper and secure tools to implement treasury operations (ebanking, cashpooler etc)
 Ensure that cash requirements of all entities are fulfilled at all times to meet business needs by appropriate forecasting
 Ensure that all cash related transactions are secure, properly recorded, reconciled and compliant with regulations
 Ensure that FX exposure is properly hedged on a regular basis in accordance with Arkema policies. Execute and negotiate hedging transactions with banks accordingly
 Ensure timely Treasury reporting and provide analysis if required
 Serve as primary point of contact for all cash related activities and inquiries notably with Malaysia Accounting Shared Service
 Prepare fiscal year-end audit schedules
 Interface with financial institutions in management of bank relationships and evaluation of services, pricing and products
 Support and facilitate all treasury related matters for Asia (except for China)
 User assistance and training for SAP and Cashpooler (internal banking communication tool)

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
 Manage the Treasury shared service center
 Roll-out of SAP and Cashpooler
 Potential extension of SSC to other entities worldwide
 Potentially complex foreign exchange regulations (non-convertible currencies, strict foreign exchange controls…)
 

ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Optimization of treasury situation
 Compliance with banking, accounting, tax and treasury rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
 Finance degree with a minimum 5-7 years’ experience in finance or relevant fields
 Capacity for leadership, anticipation and strong management skills
