Responsibilities & Specifications:

  • To lead the overall planning and implementation of construction and property development activities, also be able to conduct feasibility studies for new project
  • To prepare development plans with the relevant professional consultants and plan the project development and construction flow and schedule
  • To manage the submission of development plans to the relevant authorities and obtain their timely approvals with favorable conditions
  • To manage, successfully secure planning consent and successfully complete the overall development and construction phase of all development projects (new planning consents, licences, relocations, extensions and acquisitions)
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant statutory authorities, including Building and Health and Safety regulations at all times
  • To monitor and manage expenditure against project budgets.
  • To monitor the project risk registers and comply with project management process as well as ensuring the smooth progresses and the completion of work with schedule.
  • To complete the procurement/tendering process for all property projects in consultation/collaboration with consultants/suppliers to ensure best value for money and quality and outcome
  • To plan, design, manage, monitor and control from pre-development stage to post-development stage to meet the approved standard on quality, cost and time.
  • To attend site meetings and maintain close, effectively liaise with external parties involved in property development and construction sectors, and eventually obtain approvals for planning and commencement of project.


  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Architecture, Engineering (Civil), Building or equivalent. •
  • At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in property/township development or the related field is required for this position.
  • Good knowledge of project management, contract and cost control
  • Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills 
  • Ambitious and aggressive characters with extensive technical knowledge and experience
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Languages : English, Chinese and Bahasa Melayu

Assistant Project Manager – Property Development Assistant Project Manager – Property Development

The candidates should be knowledgeable and acumen in the property development aspects from inception, feasibility, scheduling, authority approvals, permits, and certifications, costing, tendering, construction, final accounts, and completion.

Candidates should be well versed in communication and coordination with all appointed property development consultants in timing delivery of layout design, schematic design, building plan design, and authorities approvals.

Candidates should possess communication skills and interpersonal skills as required interaction and liaison with the relevant authorities’ technical department in fulfilling the development requirements.

The candidates also need to be a team-player working together not only with the external professional technical consultants but with the internal team comprised of the project, sales, and marketing, sales administration, finance, cost and contract, property management, as well as the construction team.

Candidates should be able to monitor the progress of the development project ensuring timely milestones are achieved and within the allocated budget.

Candidates should be progressive, proactive, and creative in anticipating and resolving the problems and issues encountered during the planning and implementation of the development project.

Candidates need to be knowledgeable and well versed in reading, understanding, and interpreting the planning layout, architectural, civil and structural, and M&E plan being produced by the professional technical consultants.

Candidates should be able to conduct and draw down the Master Implementation Work-Program, Milestone Scheduling, and simple project feasibility thus mastering the Microsoft Project Management or Primavera and Microsoft Office would be an added advantage.

Candidates should also be able to do the project administrative work which among else include Project Brief, Progress Report, Budget Allocation and Request, Purchase Order, Progress Billings and Collections, memos and letters, etc.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess any Degree in Town Planning/ Architecture/ Engineering (C&S, M&E), QS, or those related to Property Development and Construction Industry.

Experienced in property development projects and construction not less than 8 years.

Fluent in Bahasa and English, Acumen to details, good in communication and interpersonal skill. Well-versed in Microsoft Office with any Project Management Software would be an added advantage.

Able to work independently, innovative, results-oriented, team player, and able to cope with job-related pressure.
