SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The Assembly Technician perfarms assigned product assembly, testing and rework operation in manufacture of X-Ray equipment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO.

• Perform assembly, test and rework of sub-assemblies and final assembly of units by followir written work instructions, blue prints and schematics,
• Follow process, policies and procedures and accurately complete manufacturing anu, documentation as required
• Support and participate in lean manufacturing Initiatives such as Kaizen events, Cycle Counting, 55 etc.
• Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies,
• Comply with all applicable corporate and regulatory export control and security regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Diploma / High school "O" level or equivalent

Experience
With or without experience in a similar role in an engineering/ manufacturing
or related industry preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

• Excellent mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and experience working small hand tools and electronic test equipment
• English verbal & written commun/cation skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Understanding pf Lean manufacturing principles including Kanban, Cycle counting, 59
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
