The Manager – HRA is responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the overall discharge of the HRA functions and implementation of HRA initiatives to drive and support the achievement of organisation goals and departmental goals.




         Human Resource Policies

  • Supervise, coach and guide HR operational activities including Performance Development Systems and measurement of the unit to ensure compliance and accuracy.

2.         Manpower Planning and Sourcing

  • Conduct recruitment and placement activities.
  • Plan manpower requirement to achieve lean but optimum efficiency
  • Re-engineer work force profiles for the middle and longer-term competitiveness and cost effectiveness.

3.         Training & Development & Evaluation

  • Ensure new hires are properly integrated into organisation with induction and training programmes.
  • Develop programmes to enhance conceptual and practical skills of employees aligned to organisation overall goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training.
  • Capture, document critical skills and develop training programmes to upgrade existing skills and re-train old skills
  • Assist CEO in identifying, train and develop potential employees for career development and progression.

4.         Industrial Relations

  • Coordinate liaise and assist in the investigation of industrial relations issues & make appropriate recommendations.
  • Maintain harmonious industrial relations climate
  • Enforce discipline to achieve consistent quality work

5.         HR Research

  • Participate and conduct surveys in human resource related issues.
  • Provide accurate feedback to superior and other related personnel.
  • Track productivity trend in relation to HR performance


6.         Communication

  • Liase with external and internal parties on human resource issues, including alignment to group HR policies and HR initiatives.
  • Establish effective lateral and vertical communication channels
  • Employee Engagement


7.         Employees Welfare

· Coordinate employee benefit and welfare schemes and ensure efficient discharge and accurate recording.

·  Establish, maintain and improve Employees socialisation programmes, including sports and recreational activities.

· Maintain and improve employees welfare facilities such as canteen, surau and foreign worker hostels & other.


8.  Human Resource Administration and operations

·         Accurate and up to date HR administration and payroll

·         Statistical support to other units

·         Timely reports


9.         General Administration

·         Foreign Workers Affairs

·         Government Department

·         Licensing

·         Insurance

·         Factory Compound



  1.  Performance and behaviour of staff under his control
  2.  Effective operational and development programmes and results
  3.  Effective and efficient HR administration and compliance to set policies and statutory   




  1. A degree preferably in Human Resource Development
  2. At least 15 years experience in Human Resource and Administration in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
