1. Costing & Pricing

1.1 Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, overhead and labor.

1.2 Analyzing changes in product formulation, raw materials, or manufacturing methods, to determine its effects on product cost.

1.3 Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

1.4 Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.

1.5 Preparing costing sheet & structure to aid the management on product price decision-making purposes.

Financial Analyis

2.1 Monitor and analyze financial reports by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget and forecasts.

2.2 Improve cost analysis process by providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions.

2.3 Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to management.

2.4 Making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

2.5 Increase productivity by developing automated variance analysis modelling

2.6  Provides consulting services to staff in other departments in regards to
managing, analysing and verifying financial data.

3. Forecasting & Budgeting

3.1 Work with stakeholders to develop the organization's budget.

3.2 Combine all department budgets together into a consolidated organizational budget and review the content prior to management approval.

3.3 Oversee departmental spending to ensure compliance with the budget and determine whether changes to funding levels are needed for certain programs.

3.4 Prepare special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts.

4. Tax Forecast

4.1 Responsible for tax forecast computation and revision (CP204A) during 1st, 6th & 9th month and liaise with tax agent for submission to IRB.

4.2 Ensure the tax instalment is appropriate to avoid tax penalty by the regulators.

5. General

5.1 Create Product Code in eMas system upon receiving Product Code Registration ("PCR") Form from the relevant department

5.2 Performs other related duties, which do not affect the nature and scope of the work.

5.3 Participates in working groups and committee duties as required.

5.4 Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations, participating in educational opportunities & maintaining personal networks.
