Responsibilities of Position:

  • Manage the resources and the competencies of a team
  • Responsible for establishing short term (weekly), medium term (monthly),& long-term (annually) maintenance plans for all manufacturing equipment and associated utility systems to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), MTBF(mean time before failure), SOT (start on time), MTTR (mean time to repair), & spares management.
  • Assist in the development of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques to ensure
  • maximum equipment reliability
  • Be a proactive leader in the development and implementation of the TPM system
  • Ensure equipment and facility compliance to applicable federal, state, and local codes
  • Manage the calibration of all critical chain process instrumentation and test equipment
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration between maintenance, production, engineering, new
  • projects and administration to establish spare parts requirements and inventory
  • Establish and report on Maintenance metrics & KPIs
  • Serve as the administrator of the Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • (CMMS) and work request system
  • Manage the calibration of all critical chain process instrumentation and test equipment
  • Coordination of all audits requirements in support of instrument calibration.
  • Perform other related duties as required

 

Experience/Education/Certification Required:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, or Mechanical, – Associate' Degree or equivalent In a technical field or;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the following areas:
    • Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including reading associated schematics and P&IDs
    • Implementing and/or managing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program,including development and tracking of equipment reliability measures such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
    • Ensuring equipment and facility compliance to applicable federal, state, and local codes
  • Strong skills in managing critical chain process instrumentation and testing equipment

Preference given to candidates with the following:

  •  Lean manufacturing experience, certification a plus
