Job Position – WELDER ( JOHOR BAHRU )

Job Descriptions

• Managing all day-to-day welding related activities
• Welding qualification certificates
• Skill in welding all type of materials i.e. Carbon steel, stainless steel, super duplex, Inconel
• General inspection of weld joints, welding in common welding process and proficiency in most area of general welding and fabrication.
• Trouble shooting welding defects, root cause analysis & necessary corrective action/s
• Training / supervising welders and welding operators including welding machine optimal settings.
• Must have knowledge to use MIG welding, TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel engineering works
• Sometimes have to assist some engineering fabrication works according to drawing
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by immediate superior or management from time to time.
• Support basis welding, grinding and fabrication works

Requirements

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in related field
• Operate an automatic rotating torch cladding machine.
• Perform manual pipe welding for r.t (radiography testing)
• Robotic fanuc Welding System. ( Techno / fronius )
• Knowledge / qualification for visual, DPT, UT, MPI inspection.
• Previous experience in and / or familiarity with the oil & gas industry preferred
