POSITION: FIELD MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN 

Job Descriptions: 

• Perform on-site service, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites.

• Diagnose issues involving hydraulic systems, PLC controls, and basic electrical components.

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

• Support engineers in performing adjustments, calibration, and component replacement.

• Provide technical support to customers (local and foreign) during service calls.

• Ensure all service activities follow company safety procedures and industry standards.

• Work closely with the mechanical/engineering team to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Job Requirements: 

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

• 1–3 years of experience in machinery maintenance, mechanical servicing, or field service roles.

• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems (diagnosis, repair, pressure testing).

• Basic knowledge of PLC and control systems (equipment is pre-loaded, no programming needed).

• Basic electrical understanding (motors, sensors, wiring, relays).

• Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/hydraulic equipment independently.

• Able to work in a team with a mixture of local and foreign staff.

• Willing to travel for on-site work when required.

• Good communication skills, responsible, and hands-on working attitude.
